Aaron’s Call Center Accomplishments

Some of Aaron’s leadership roles include:
- Chair of statewide 2-1-1 coordinating council to manage 2-1-1 operations for six regional centers
- Technology Coordinator for the Alliance of Information & Referral Systems (AIRS), and coordinator all technology-based initiatives for I&R throughout the United States and Canada
- Former board member of network of CONTACT USA – a national accrediting body for crisis centers
- Louisiana State Liaison between LA 2-1-1 and state and federal agencies during Hurricane Issac. LA Department of Family and Child Services acknowledged that performance during this time was the best overall operation of the LA 2-1-1 system during a disaster since its
- Co-founded CrisisChat.org, and operationalized and brought about standards and guidelines for the national program. Model was later used by National Suicide Prevention Lifeline to launch their crisis chat program.
- Raised hundreds of thousands of dollars in grant money and contracts for clients through innovation
- Spoke at the 2012 and, and 46th American Association of Suicidology Annual Conference in Austin, TX and will speak at the 2013 AIRS National Conference in Portland, Oregon in June 2013 on best strategy for I&R providers to utilize technology and telephony to be more efficient.
- Acted as change agent in numerous organizations, fostering in innovation in technology and process development
